Trees are spaced evenly in straight rows and 90-degree corners. Native grasses are bunched in rectangular plots. Walkways are placed on a grid that echoes the architecture.
A single 150-year-old oak anchors the lakeside yard. An adjacent deck sits in its shadow with long, lazy views out over the lake. This is an easy, open landscape with no maintenance, no frills—just what the homeowners ordered.
